Youssef Zad is the Chief Economist at the Finnish Startup Community, where he focuses on startup policy, economic analysis, and ecosystem development. With a background in labor markets, statistical modeling, and public sector economics, Youssef brings a data-driven perspective to Finland’s entrepreneurial landscape. He is also a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Jyväskylä, a columnist for Kauppalehti, and a regular commentator on YLE’s morning show Jälkipörssi.
