He leads Tulva AI, a research-to-business initiative addressing one of healthcare’s most pressing challenges: aligning limited care capacity with growing patient demand. By introducing demand planning to healthcare, Tulva AI aims to enhance both clinical outcomes and cost-effectiveness across hospitals and outpatient clinics. The project aims to spin out from the university in early 2026 and is actively seeking collaborators both in Finland and internationally.
