Juho Väisänen is serving as the Head of Innovation Services at Tampere University. He holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Tampere University of Technology. Over the past 15 years, he has held various roles in technology transfer, innovation, and project management at Tampere Universities. He co-founded the SPARK Finland program, which aids health and life science researchers in developing solutions. Currently, he leads a team focused on knowledge valorisation and technology transfer at Tampere University. He is with a career-long commitment dedicated to supporting researchers in creating value and transforming research findings into meaningful solutions and business opportunities to benefit the society.
