About
Robots are more and more visible in the city view. They deliver your supermarket orders, they cut grass in the parks, they transport people, they serve people in customer service points… Whether you like it or not, it seems that robots are already part of our life. Robot literacy means the competencies of being aware of robots, being able to interact with them, and reflecting on their ethical aspects. MediaRoboLit 65+ project listens to older adults’ perspectives on robotics. It explores the robot literacy of older adults, studies their perceptions about robots, and creates solutions to enhance the robot literacy of them. In the project, we have conducted Robotour for Senior workshops in several care homes in Tampere. We will now present Robotour for Seniors model and interesting findings from the tour, accompanied by some of the robots that were part of the tour!
