Our platform (Spotin.ch) builds a real-time, place-based public information infrastructure for cities. Spotin.ch turns every neighborhood into an active information node. It strengthens daily urban life and plays a key role in emergency preparedness. In Istanbul, this enables timely information on transport, pollution, noise, or public events—available directly in physical locations like bus stops, public spaces, or even homes. We are a public-led initiative rooted in the City of Biel/Bienne, combining strategic governance, field-tested infrastructure, and academic innovation. Our platform is sovereign, modular, privacy-first, and built on open standards.
